For the best engraving results, uploaded images should be:

• Clear and in focus
• High contrast (dark writing or lines on a light background)
• Simple and uncluttered
• Original files whenever possible (not screenshots)
  

Great image types include:

• Handwritten notes, names, or short messages
• Signatures
• Children’s drawings
• Simple line art or logos
  

🚫 Please avoid:

• Blurry or low-resolution photos
• Screenshots
• Faint pencil marks or very light ink
• Busy backgrounds, lined paper, or shadows crossing the image
• Coloured or shaded artwork (line drawings engrave best)
• If there’s ever an issue, we’ll review your image and contact you before engraving.

• Use black or dark ink on plain white paper
• Bold lines engrave more clearly than light strokes
